Giant Hogweed Mitigation Project exists for three reasons:

  1. To coordinate landowners, volunteers, and authorities in giant hogweed control

  2. To develop and present public education about hazards and safety of giant hogweed

  3. To attempt to influence bylaws and legislation regarding this hazardous plant.
